We were established in 2011 by Richard Slatter, whose extensive Reinsurance expertise was developed whilst working at Aon and who latterly ran AON Benfield in the Middle East.

These treaties offer automatic capacity and cover emerging, or speciality lines of business, such as energy, aviation, casualty, cyber or surety.

SISMENA has successfully developed a Client base of leading Insurance Companies from across the MENA region. We have achieved this success by consistently investing in and understanding our Client’s needs. We are able to deliver real value to our Client’s businesses.

The key to this success has been the development of new London Market led products and a following market that will support.

The Treaty market for these speciality products is predominantly in Lloyds.

The markets that we work with will all use underwriting models to extensively evaluate the underwriting opportunities that they are offered. Therefore the key to the successful placement of a Treaty covering these speciality lines is good quality information and a good business plan narrative.

We work closely with our Clients in order to assist produce accurate statistical information and a good quality business plan narrative.
